Ryde Bridge by annied

Ryde Bridge

This month I am going to play with my Nikon 7200 - hopefully I will learn something about the camera along the way - I have a busy work couple of weeks so playing may be done in chunks.

This was taken from Meadowbank Bridge.
nice clear shot. feels as if I could be in the scene!

Hi, I am your partner for Get Pushed this week
I've enjoyed looking at your shots and see that you have new 7200 Nikon. I haven't been able to figure out your location:-)
For this week as a Get Pushed exercise, how about taking some night shots showing star trails. This should be possible with the 7200.

I just love these old-fashioned lifting bridges, or is there a weir there??

@golftragic it was a lifting bridge - the lifts have been disengaged now I think

Beautiful capture. Very sharp.

I like the symmetry in it and how it contrasts with the background trees.

You have the coolest bridges!

@annied I originally thought so, looks a bit like the Swan Hill bridge over the Murray, except that one's all wooden and constantly being repaired.

@jnr hey Jim - I did not get the opportunity to try the star trails - the couple of nights I had the chance it was cloudy - will keep it mind and let you know - in a couple of weeks I will be in country areas where night sky is clearer so might get a chance then.
