except this should be a safe space for dogs off the lead - so someone erred. [NB I always religiously closed these gates - until I saw a small dog go through the gaps in the big gate on the left!]
LOL reminds me of that moment in The Muppet Christmas Carol when Gonzo says to Rizzo, who has just gone back to fetch his bag of jelly beans, "you can fit through those bars?"
An open gate is always inviting, well spotted and captured Annie-Sue, as a young boy growing up in the country I was taught from an early age to close the gate and still do:)
Oh that does look inviting! What stunning countryside. And yes, small dog owners need to be very aware that these kinds of gates and fences won't keep little pooches in. Before my little 2kg yorkie, Holly, died, I used to be paranoid about balconies and even stairs in case she slipped under the railings.
