Little Marton Mill, Blackpool by antmcg69

Little Marton Mill, Blackpool

A sure sign you were arriving in Blackpool. This mill was opened in 1838, is a grade ll listed building and is open every Sunday to demonstrate how it was used. High winds took off one of the sails last year and another one came loose so the council took them all off. Not sure if they will be replaced.
Is that where our dad walked home from once upon a time, some decades ago? Great picture!

I remember seeing this as a child. This must be where I got my fascination of round buildings from. I always wanted to live in either a windmill or a lighthouse, but I don't think my knees could cope with stairs now. ha ha.
