Tree Losing to the Wind

Started by Sue sending me this image by Sandra Bartocha and then I found this Jane tutorial and I looked out the window and watched the blossom from my cherry tree fly by.

I know there's issues with composition and the tree trunk, but I think it looks stormy and as if the blossom is coming your way

i see no problem with the tree trunk, some trees grow to be that way. so i take it this is an original composition? bravo! aces!

I think it looks beautiful. It does look stormy, love the blossom blowing in the wind and the stormy clouds.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Trunk? What trunk? Can you spot any elephant in that painting???? ooooh... dear me, my son would deny me for the pun and for being such a bad pun!!!!
So: trunk? Who can spot the trunk in that awesomness of stormy skies and blowing wind? I feel chills when i look at this and go to close the window. But it is closed already.

Skies are difficult to paint and you've captured the storminess really well. It's looking a bit like that outside now!
