Some inspiration for the title and a little sheep I did using the colored pencils my husband gave me for Christmas and watercolors. I like the speckles of paint. How do you feel about them?
I also created a new album which I hope is OK. It is titled tutorials which I though might be helpful as a place to find all the great tutorials that so many of you share. I did not put them all in there yet but will be happy to hunt them down and do that if you want. It will be useful going forward for sure
@grammyn This sheep is amazing. I love the expression on the face and the proportions! Well done! I also love how you rendered the wool. Excellent work. Superb details. The way that the wool is a bit denser and darker between the ears, and the variation in the ears to indicate the fold, and that little highlight in the eyes that make this such a jolly sheep. Very playful look. As for the speckles, I think they are that 'something'. It would be too plain without them. It's the quel-que-chose (however the right spelling might be)!!!
@grammyn - such industry you got. you're aces! we ought to name this guy as he's too cute and handsome. 'guy' might be? i love his shagginess. as for the fourth album, thanks for that; hopefully, i could make use of it as really i've been such a lazy so-and-so. i should be called 'the would-be artist formerly known as summerfield' 🤣
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I am glad you like them both. Still lots of work to do on the album but it has been fun going back and seeing what everyone has done @monikozi Yopur positive comments alway encourage me so much and mean a lot to me thank you Monika and quel que chose is precisely the way to spell it! @theredcamera still waiting to see what you paint Ellen LOL I am really happy to hear you like it and thank you so much @salza That is so nice of you Sally thanks bunches @wakelys II am really happy to hear that Sue thanks @summerfield thanks for all that positive support about the painting. I have been told often to keep practicing and I am finding it is good advice!
@grammyn - great weather we had today and i had all the intentions of painting (as yesterday, i got to finish that lovely 'palouse mountains' painting so inspired to be artistic), but as i said we had great weather! 🤣
@summerfield I have to agree with you that bad weather is much better painting weather than good weather. Glad you finished the Palouse painting. I have found that my motivation, ebbs and flows, so no worries about not painting.
