My cousin Myra telephoned me yesterday evening with the sad news that my cousin Jean had passed away after many years of bad health and struggling with Leukaemia . Great sadness but not unexpected as she is now in a better place . I simply made a card from one of my lily photos from the garden as I felt it was personal and appropriate !
When you come to my age friends and family start to dwindle -- such is life and death !!!!!
Yes more funerals at our age too Beryl.....sounds morbid but a fact of life! You have your own lily to go at though so very useful for cards! Beautiful capture of this lovely formal flower.
