I popped into Wellington this morning only to find the local bank was closed for refurbishment , hence I would need to go to the Telford branch ! --Was out of steam to go there today !
On my way back to the car-park I saw this little dog tied up outside the shop and as I was taking a photo of him a big burly man came out to claim his dog and what a welcome he had -every fibre of the dog's little body shook with glee ! I hastily asked if it was Ok to take a photo of his dog (expecting the worse ) but the big burly man in his camouflage trousers was most friendly and said he often took his camera with him when he took his dog up on the Ercall ( a wooded hill on the edge of Wellington ) for a walk ! I thought you can not judge a book by its cover !! as I did not expect such a friendly conversation !
What a gorgeous dog and a lovely story. I agree, never judge a book by the cover. I have had lots of very interesting conversations with people who I have taken photos of. Everyone is really friendly I find when you ask to take their photo.
He loves his dig so would be pleased you took interest Beryl. Like mums talking about their children....once we start we can't stop when they are little. How lovely to see the welcome back he got.
