I am thinking that this could be a plot to a Movie of the Week.
I was catching the last bus home and I still had not taken a shot that I was really happy with. So I quickly took a shot of this clock. It is at one of the Edmonton Transit Service Terminals. Earlier this year the clock stopped running. It remained unfixed for several week and then one day I noticed that they had removed the hands from its face. They still have not replaced those and so I really don't know what they will do with it.
I have to stop here on my way to work each day and since I have not worn a watch in years I never know what time it is when I get there. That is okay though. I have found that life is so much more relaxing when I am not concerned with the time
I used to wear a watch religiously. I've stopped, for no particular reason. Like you, I find it kind of nice. However I have learned how to check the time from other people's watches... sneaky. But I also carry my cell with me.
so true about life being more relaxing without the time. it seems that sometimes every minute needs to be accounted for, and sometimes it's nice to just be blissfully unaware of the time.
what a great shot! I stopped wearing a watch about three months ago when the strap broke - I like the freedom it gives though I have almost missed a couple of flights!!
Great shot- I used to wear a watch all the time, but since I haven't been working, there seems to be no need for it. I kind of like not being so attached to it!
strange, brian. but this is the third time today in my travels from san francisco to chicago to buffalo that i have seen clocks like this without hands. i'm beginning to think i am in twilight zone. eerie! nice shot though.
Well I'll be....never thought I see a clock that stands still but some do but without the hands never..so I think this is a neat picture and deserves to be on 365 for all to see.
