Ok, its a terrible picture. To be fair, no matter how arty I could've taken it, the bottom line is that it's a pic of a cauliflower.
But this is MY cauliflower!! I grew it from seed. I fed, watered it, built a netted cage for it, talked to it and looked after it for months and this is my reward. I was told down the allotment that these babies are among the most difficult to grow and that it must be beginners luck! Cheeky beggars, they just have cauliflower envy ;-)
Hey you (and your cauliflower!) How lovely to hear from you again :-) Hows life and the house and the other half etc? I'm gradually coming to terms with my Mum's death.......up and down, you know. Now i'll make a cheese sauce and you do the cauli! Congrats on the horticultural achievement!
Helloooo!! I tried growing them a couple of times and they got everything - caterpillars in particular and then they ran to seed just when I was thinking I'd harvest. Just had a lovely cauliflower cheese for my tea actually - harvested from M&S.
