still sorting through some older photographs. I took this photo on top of notre dame cathedral in paris on film sometime in the 90's and it was never processed originally (the developers skipped it). it was the last photo on the film and the negative was somewhat crunched. only after actually looking at the negatives did I notice it and had it processed (like a year later). all the scratches on the image are part of the original negative. god, i love paris. (but don't really miss film)
This particular PoV is iconic but nevertheless, one of my favourites because it adds an air of mystery to the city... and it's a genuine period view - wonderful!
@teachntravel it wasn't too bad of a wait, and it's soooo worth it. standing here is one of my favorite places in the world (and it helps that I am a big Victor Hugo fan, aka, 'hunchback of notre dame).
First, I'm glad you had this developed. Its a fav. Second, I'm so happy to hear someone say they don't miss film. Don't get me wrong. Its wonderful. But I don't miss it for a second. For so many reasons.
