I usually refrain from taking photos of paintings in museums because they never turn out like how they appear in person, but I just couldn't help myself with this one. You're right Munch expressed the frailty of the human character brilliantly. I think it is possibly the most striking work of art ever, no matter how you feel about it you cannot ignore it.
