We went to Bakewell today. all these locks and keys are all across the bride on both sides over the River Wye .all with little messages names and dates. wonder how many romances survive?

This seems to be happening more and more on many bridges. I wonder what started it off...? Someone told me recently they had to cut the locks of a particular bridge because it was weighing it down...

I know...!..went early...was only there couple hours...not too bad..think cos its this may bank hol..and not the end of may or August one!...
Carole and I put a lock on the bridge in Paris (which they've recently removed due to the weight of the locks)
