The clematis flowered whilst we were in Florida. then the weather was very windy and has done it no good at all.. so missed all its glory, .it is climbing slowly up the Pergola thing we have. maybe next year it will be across the top

You can see why bees would go for it. The go faster stripes draw your eyes to the centre of the flower. I love photos of single flowers. They are so powerful.
