knowing your onions

ooh busy today, made batches tomato soup. poached lots of pears.. john got the onions in for drying..damson frozen ready for damson gin. apples next. everything has done so well .. all comes at once though !

A small fruit..purple..bit like a small plum.but can be a bit sharp..great for jam.or puddings though and damson gin
