Totally locally Leek. Sunday supplement market was on today. lots of stalls and food and gifts. purchased some lovely artisan bread to go with the lobby which John made yesterday

Ho ho ho !! so he has arrived ! and looking for last minute presents to buy !! 'Scuse me -for my ignorance -- but what is a "lobby " ( a casserole or stew ?)
@beryl Lobby consists of diced potatoes, diced beef, carrots, onions, beef stock, and other ingredients and seasonings. Lobby is an example of the traditional Staffordshire dishes eaten by poorly-paid potters who could not afford fresh food every day. It remains on the menus of local pubs and on locals' dinner tables today.
