Chester rows

Got Martha today..so another from Chester yesterday.there used to lot more small different shops down here .shame its all these big centres now killing the small independent shops.

Such a pity for the small independent shops, they can't beat the prices of the big chains, but the atmosphere is often so much better in the small independent ones!

I really dislike seeing the disappearance of the quaint shops in lieu of the big box stores - very sad indeed and nicely represented in this photo!

I seem to remember that this was a really nice row of original shops, the ones people love going in usually, it's a strange world!

This is something special about Chester and it’s such a shame the small independent shops are struggling to survive.
