Rosary and prayer book

Belonging to my grandparents.
I like still life. I really want to learn more about lighting
Nicely done. There are many good books on lighting but it can be just as much fun experimenting. You don't have to have anything special (unless you want to) you can work wonders with any lamps in your house or torches (I use a lot of torches!)

Excellent composition and focal point. Welcome to 365! I hope you enjoy the project. Nothing beats natural sun light in my book.

Very nice; I did a Rosary shot a few weeks ago, it was awful! I deleted them all. It is very sentimental piece, as they belonged to my Husbands father. I may have to revisit that too.

Very nice shot. It would look nice lit from the left hand side, or the back.
