civic grandeur

i'd really like some feedback on the composition of this and the similar shot from 1 dec. what say you!!!

I really like the other one better...I tend to prefer the off centred look

thanks Sue - I tend to agree - however with the other i get drawn into the whole theatre more…. I think if i'd been more at a distance - that might have had a better result…..

I've been going back and forth between the captures - it's hard to pick a favorite...they each have great qualities. I like this shot because I can view so much more of the background (particularly the statue to the left). But the other views highlights the amazing detail of the light itself - the animals are incredible and I didn't notice them as much in this capture. Wonderful work on both of them!

while these are both lovely shot, I tend to like the off center shot better. I also notice that I tend to take pictures that are off center, hmmm....
