Meet me in Casablanca

The Civic theatre, Auckland - opened in 1929. Coinciding with the eve of the Great Depression - the cinema didn't do so well and was nearly demolished in the 1940's. Imagine!! Thank heavens that never happened.
Today it is still glorious with all its amazing moorish interior.
Its one of my most favourite places - and location for the annual film festival. No better place to immerse yourself and be entertained by cinema.. Bliss
