Test image made using the Leica Rigid Summicron I was given. I took the lens apart and cleaned it after shining a flashlight on its innards and seeing haze from oozing oil. From my understanding whale oil was used on these lenses. I used 3% hydrogen peroxide and lighter fluid to clean the lens. It is much better than before the cleaning with better contrast.
