Dory

This boat has seen better days. Its port side looks is shorn off from the stern to midships. This was taken in Chatham Bars, Chatham, Massachusetts. In the summer this stretch attracts many seals who sun on the exposed sandbars at lower tides. With the seals come the sharks.
Looking serene

Such a lovely and serene shot with the boat bobbing in the waves.I can almost hear the waves lapping on the shore.
Very nice.

@brigette @kali66 @farmreporter It was a calm-ish day. Chatham is an absolutely beautiful place. It is the place where the fishing boat was ported in the movie Jaws. During our sailboat cruises, we took a dinghy ride through some inlets in Menemsha in the Elizabeth Islands, and the fishing boat used in the movie is in the reeds in a marsh being consumed by nature. Chatham has an active fishing fleet. It is a quintessential New England town. As for the damage to this boat, it likely went up on the rocks on shore during a storm. I am surprised the owner leaves it on the mooring given there is an outboard astern, unless the whole boat was submerged from the havoc.
