I joined a new walking group today and this is from our 15 minute rest stop mid-way through our 6 mile walk from Willington in Bedforshire Not a well composed shot as I only had my phone with me and I couldn't see the screen because of the brightness. We were advised not to take cameras with us as there would be 'no stopping time for photography', despite the one of the leaders also being the leader of the photography group! Still a very pleasant walk and everyone was so friendly.
So you were breaking the rules first time out Judith! I find a walk the very time I want to take most photos but always say just ignore me & I will catch up but I'm always at the back!
@julzmaioro I agree. I was very disappointed but I'm not a fast walker and if I'd stopped to take pictures I'm not sure I would have been able to catch up.
We go out with our U3A walking group, but my camera always comes with me. We have quite a few photographers on our walks, so the group are used to us stopping for a photo. We always manage to catch up.
