If you have the specification for highway signs and their lettering, what can you do with them?

Silverdale, WA is getting a new bridge, the two lane worked for a long time, guess all the growth in the are makes it a requirement to widen the bridge over the salmon stream. But then again, when the city permanently post road construction signs, I guess they have to keep tearing up the roads.
