No Meteors

No meteors on film, one sited prior to setup, and only one jet to California.
I have yet to try this - can I ask how long this took please?

@fbailey Normally I would do ISO 400, 30 Sec, F5.6 with 1-5 sec between shots, this was ISO 2500, 16sec, f/7.2 with one second between ( you can see the gap in the Jet's lights. The images where shot RAW and converted to JPG with Photomatix Pro 5.1.1. www.hdrsoft.com using preset B&W Photographic setting. I forgot to adjust the whitebalance so the "natural" lighting had a red cast to the images. There were some high clouds which reflected the "red" from general lighting around me.

There are only 64 frames to this, put together with http://www.startrails.de/html/software.html

@fbailey click the tag "star Trails" to see other examples of this type of photography. And remember that the foreground makes a better image.

@byrdlip Thank you very much indeed for this. The two ambitions I have for next year are star trails (wasn't sure how long it would take) and photographing by moonlight. Your info was very useful:)
