Headrick Chapel by calm

Headrick Chapel

Headrick Chapel was established in 1902, nestled in a valley adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in East Tennessee. This is the valley where my ancestors lived for more than 150 years.
What an idyllic scene - beautiful Cathy!

Plenty of room still in the cemetery! Lovely setting and the church looks well maintained!

@jillmstruss Thank you, Jill... this part of the valley is still reminiscent of the past. @maggiemae It is a very peaceful resting place for many of the people who spent their lives in the valley. My parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great grandparents and a cousin are buried in a cemetery a little further down the valley. I'm not sure weekly worship services are still conducted, but it is available to weddings, etc.
