Today has been cold and we have had a few snow flurries. I did manage a late afternoon walk. The sun made a brief appearance just before sunset and the water reflected the blue sky. I walk several days a week. Most days I walk along this creek in a small local park. Most of the colorful leaves are gone, except for this red bush. Thankful for the opportunity to walk outdoors most days.
Would love to walk along a creek - but nothing close by. We had all our leaves fall yesterday with a wicked wind storm and then we got a dump of snow. That ends my fall season. So sad.
@kass I find walking by streams of gently flowing water somehow soothes my soul. Very few leaves left here, but we drove to the beach to pick up a load of furniture over the weekend and I was amazed how many colorful leaves were still in place east of the mountains. I am always so sad to see fall end... I guess it is because I don't look forward to what follows, although I like to have one or two snows that don't last too long. I'm already aching for spring!
@kathyladley I was surprised how the blue sky reflected in the creek... thanks for your continuing encouragement. May not be too active for a few days... lots going on!
@anazad511 Just been really, really busy... and maybe a little burned out, too. Thanks for checking on me... participation will probably be spotty for a while.
