'Dog' is the word of the day for the January '16 Word List. So pleased to see my friend, Rachel, on the front page of today's newspaper in an article about helping dogs find their forever homes. Rachel works full time as a nurse in the operating room at the hospital, but she also works tirelessly rescuing animals in need of loving homes. Our Molly, in the background of the photo, was a rescue dog. She has shared our lives for more than a dozen years, as has Maggie (another rescue), our high maintenance girl. Home just wouldn't be home without them!
