The hallways of Atalaya were very narrow. There were no plans drawn for this house, only the vision in the head of the owner, Arthur Huntington. I admire him for choosing to hire locals to build his summer home during the years of the Depression. Even though they were wealthy, they did seem to have a heart for people, and for animals.
