Finding the Bright Side by calm

Finding the Bright Side

I have always enjoyed yard work. The colorful foliage of caladiums always seem to brighten the shady places. But I guess age and long covid have me slowing down (on the bright side my antibodies are still over 500 more than 15 months after covid). I’ve learned that containers are easier for me to plant and maintain. Though I still spend 1-2 hours a day watering when it doesn’t rain. I haven’t seen as many bees and butterflies this year either. BTW, the netting over the pond has kept the owl at bay and the koi safe so far. But it isn’t too pretty.
gorgeous plant and I like the bush and view in the background

Looks like you have a green thumb! The plant looks so vibrant and healthy! I didn't know you have suffered from Covid. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you are fully recovered from all the side effects soon. Fav.

@cindymc Thank you for the comment and fav. I had covid in April of 2021, 9 days in ICU, but the Lord was merciful. I still have shortness of breath and my heart races with activity, but much better than others fared. Glad to see you feel good enough to look at 365. I look forward to seeing you back here on a daily basis. ❤️🙏🏼
