Flash of Red Week 2 - Trinkets, Treasures and Trash

This one can be tagged as trash. We recently renovated our kitchen and I took off all the knobs from the old cabinets thinking that I could use them someday. I have boxes of stuff cluttering my shed because “maybe this will come in handy some day”. Yeah, and maybe pigs will fly.

Loved your story - the “one day maybe I’ll need this” syndrome is very familiar to me. Currently, I am going through A LOT in my home and at my mother’s and purging. I can say that it feels very good, actually. I give a lot away on Freecycle.org and people are so happy to get free stuff. Win win!

@jakb My wife and I continually take boxes of things we no longer need to a local thrift shop (which supports our local animal shelter) but we never seem to make any headway. Our house is still full of stuff.
