Sunflowers

A first try using textures. I don't really know what I'm doing but it's fun playing. Any advice would be welcome.

I wonder how you changed the background - must be a special app! Its up to your eye to be happy with what you have done. An artists preference!

@maggiemae It was done in Photoshop using layers. The photo of the sunflowers was placed on one layer and the texture on another. Then I tried different blend modes until I found a result I liked. It was a little strong on the petals so I masked some of it out.
