Window Boxes

That is literally what they are: boxes on a window. The only thing I can see growing in them are dandelions and even they aren't doing well.

I can say that, with the best intentions in the world, sometimes life just gets in the way. And things like window boxes are so unforgiving with their tiny amount of soil which seems to dry out if you breath on it. (Can you sense a certain amount of defensiveness coming out here?) One of them does seem to be growing a metal cat.
