Although much of the snow we’ve had recently has melted there is still a lot left. In fact, it was snowing lightly this morning when I went out but by the time I took this shot is was more of a misty rain. For you golfers out there this course is a true links style course built beside a bay where the wind coming off the water is almost always a factor at some point in the round. There are very few trees and the fairways are lined with a thick gorse that is almost impossible to play out of. Believe me, I’ve tried. To top it off the 17th has an island green that I never seem to be able to hit. I am so ready for a drink at the 19th.

Sounds an interesting course! Ours looks almost as white, but it's due to hot sun, windy days and no fairway watering. The ball runs for miles, although you do get some odd bounces, that make some interesting places to play from.
