For Sale - Only $3 Million. What a Bargain!

Actually, it is zoned for a 3 story building, commercial on the ground floor and 2 floors residential so that's why its so expensive but it is quite a small lot; around 7000 square feet. Just another example of real estate prices being out of control.
wow a right fixerupper

Wow! Is that in pounds? If so, nearly $6,000,000 for approx 650 sqm of land does seem a little crazy....

It's a steal, I'll take it!

Sounds like a bargain!

@robz I think Chris is in Vancouver so if so it’s probably in CDN $ so a lot less then pounds but still probably a nice return on investment for anyone who bought it years ago.

That's ridiculously expensive for such a small block.

@gardencat Hi Joanne - thanks for your info - it's really very interesting to read about living prices and conditions in other countries. I hadn't realized Chris was in Canada. Cheers Rob

@robz @gardencat Thanks for supplying the extra info Joanne. I’ve been a little distracted from 365 lately. Yes, that is CDN$. That property is in Steveston which is part of Greater Vancouver. Real Estate prices are obscene here which in turn causes sky high rent for those who can’t afford to buy. Those who can’t afford to pay rent are living in tents or cars or on the street. I shudder to think what the future holds for my grandchildren.

Holy crow!

@cdcook48 Hi Chris - thanks for your reply. And what you have described is what is also happening over here - In Brisbane house prices went up nearly 10% last year and rents went up 8%. The outcome is the same as you have mentioned. A huge problem.
