mono hearts

I had a lousy day today. Took some pics but didn't like them. Then I hoped for a nice sky in the evening- dodn't happened, so I decided to turn those hearts to b&w- since I haven't done that for a while!
Makes a lovely b&w

This is a lovely capture. I kind of think they look a bit like tiny baby birds hanging upside down!

The b&w really enhances their shape, good idea!

Sorry you've had a bad day, but I think it's a great way to end it with this wonderful b&w!

lousy day but nice result...remember it's a pic a day, not a masterpiece a day...hope tomorrow's better... :o)

My first impression was they look like Peking Duck in a Chinese grocer. Funny, eh? Good photo.

Beautiful, Martina. I posted an image of Bleeding Hearts, too. Their shape is so charming.

@ziggy77 @hayleymaxwell @zinnia @olivetreeann @pickerandagrinner @inthecloud5 @maree_sanderson @moonmtn @jo38 @cathieg, Thank you for comments. Those are lovely, unusual flowers. They are named after hearts but I cant help it- sometimes they remind me of some strange upside down bird position. But I feel better when I think of them as hearts ...

@wendyfrost, And as I said in the other one, Thank you as well...:)

I've got to agree with @moonmtn, they definitely remind me of ducks hanging in a Chinese grocer as well. Nice processing!

@saulgoode, I think I agree even dough I have never been in such store. They certainly remind me of some birds hanging upside down, or that chiken toy for pets (dogs)... Ha ha LOL. Anyway- I am forcing myself to see a heart first (after all they are named after hearts)

A very nice presentation and even though the vibrant colors generally add to these images, knowing your mood, b&w suits the photo and it is beautiful regardless!
