Maestral is nice wind that blows in the Adriatic sea from sea to the coast. It usually starts at 10 or 11, peaks at 2 pm, and always rests before sunset. It is very beneficial wind that cools the air and brings fresh water. It blows mostly during the summer, on warm stable and beautiful days. Typical sign of the best weather possible. No maestral means something is cooking up there... It is a mild wind, rarely strong, or even stormy. It brings those beautiful waves, somerimes small, sometimes bigger, and I know the right place to sit and enjoy them without getting my towel wet. I still wasn't brave enough to use canon, so i-phone it is. Fresh from the sea!
Ps: i know those vawes are no comparison to ocean, but at least they are safe to swimm...
@paul10 , thanks Paul for comment. I was too close to water, and I was getting sprayed by sea, not too much, but still. I didnt want my camera to get salt water all over it!!!
Wonderful POV. I was thinking you were very brave to be that close to the wave for fear of getting your camera wet, but if you go often you will know the place to be :)
