It was Mum's birthday today (mine yesterday, sorry for any confusion caused by the photo of our granddaughter). We visited McLaren Falls Park for a picnic lunch and a walk around to admire the autumn trees. Many of the leaves have dropped already - I keep saying we should get there earlier than May - but the trees were still pretty. We were pleased to have a fine day, though a little cool, as to be expected in late autumn.
