We moved on yesterday to another free camping spot at Luggate, near Lake Wanaka, where we were able to stay for two nights. After steady rain during the evening and overnight, today the clouds cleared.
We drove into the township of Wanaka to do some chores (laundromat, grocery shopping, refill a gas bottle etc) and made a quick photo stop at the lakefront while the sun was shining.
