Late this morning, John @nzkites and I went for a walk from the Mt Maunganui main beach out onto Moturiki Island. Our plan was to check on two more of our geocaches that needed maintenance and get our photo for the day at the same time.
There were a lot of people out and about even though it was a cool and cloudy day - tourists photographing the view and each other, people fishing, even an emergency rescue team practicing abseiling on the rocky cliffs.
The sea was very calm, but as we walked back to the mainland I saw this lovely gentle wave curling in to the shore, and captured several shots of it.
