It was almost the end of the day and we hadn't yet got a photo we were happy with. While driving past the local racecourse, @nzkites turned into the driveway and drove around the buildings to see what we could find. All seemed quiet other than a few golfers out on the nearby course, and lots of small birds making their way 'home' to various trees for the night.
I didn't notice the painted-over graffiti on the wall until I was processing this image.
