I loved the setting with the shrub encroaching the bench and the peonies posing alongside it but the scene was a bit ironic. The bench was placed there, I'm sure, to invite you to sit for awhile, maybe linger long enough to let the fragrance from the peonies waffle gently around you. But, as it was, the prickly shrubbery wouldn't allow you to sit comfortably or for any length of time. Guess it was just placed there for looks, or possibly as my photo opp.
Such a pretty shot. It looks like a lovely place to rest and enjoy nature, although the prickly shrubbery doesn't sound like fun. Someone needs to do some pruning.
