I just moved from a house that we had lived in for 22 years. I combed all the back roads in that area, looking for new photo opps, especially during my first year in 365. I knew that place like the back of my hand. I also retired about a year ago. Now I'm in new territory and enjoy getting out in the mornings to drive the country roads and, like retirement, each day I look forward to seeing what's over the next hill.
Thanks for your comments and favs on yesterday's post. I really look forward to your visits!
Like your analogy here. Always sad to leave familiar surroundings but exciting to discover new ones. Love the lighting and that long leading line of the road makes me wonder just 'what is over the next hill.'
