Ambivalence

Sometimes when I’m photographing a landscape, I do everything I can to keep these things out of the picture. I have even been known to clone out whole pylons in post-processing ….. But this time the great structures looked so powerful (pun intended) as they strung out towards the setting sun, that I stopped the car to take the shot.

I am a great fan of pylons and this is a great image! A good rule of them is if something is annoying you in an image and you are trying to exclude it, make it the subject of the image!
