@onewing Hi Babs, the hills here in Malvern are beautiful but you're right it was minus one degree this morning. Australia is pretty hot this time of year. My next door neighbour is visiting Oz at the moment.
@clifford I don't think I could cope with minus 1 these days.
It isn't too hot in our part of the world at the moment even though it is summertime. Probably about 26 degrees C today. I live near Nelson Bay on the east coast of New South Wales.
Malvern is a lovely area. We lived everywhere in the UK because David, my husband, was in the RAF. We left the UK in 1990 when he joined the RAAF. Long retired now though.
@marshwader Yes an enjoyable walk. The dogs just love being out and about, even though they're now quite senior. Taking your camera out everyday means you have to make the most of what's available. I might try exploring abstract next.
@clifford Yes the best way to emigrate. We returned to the UK after a 3 year posting in Cyprus and it was a bit of a culture shock to go back 'home' We couldn't get used to the cold. David was a Squadron Leader electronics engineer and when he applied to the RAAF they said 'yes please' so we came here, and they paid. Best thing we ever did.
I have forgotten just how cold it gets in the UK having lived in Australia for 33 years.
