A piece if my living-room in my apartment by the sea, when I bought this apartment I decided to change all the decoration.
Now all is neutral except spots of turquoise and blue...
For the theme of the week, homemade : I've done what's on the wall !

I would love to make something like this. What kind of material do you use to glue the images on? I love your colors and it looks like such a lovely and cozy seaside apartment.
@cocobella Thank you, but I was wondering what the material was --- like wood, canvas? I'm not much of a craft person mainly because I never seem to have time, but I'd like to start.
@cimes1 I stick on canvas, I started on linen but now it's on cotton.
I do this for years now, and the house is full of them....my husband thinks I should sell them ( he's fed up ;))
@cocobella Thank you. I will add this to my growing "to do" craft pile corner. Knowing me I'll probably make a huge mess but it's worth a try one day. So it's cotton canvas over a board and use acid free glue right? Nothing over that. Hope I'm not being a pest but this intrigues me. My hubby sounds like yours....he thinks I have too much 'stuff' around here ;-)
@cimes1 I'm like you to I have a room for me full of artistic projects....I know I will never start some or finish other but I like my little "mess".
For the making of : I cut small pieces of paper, I have a very tiny pair of scissors , then I glue with an acid free glue, then I stick glitters, I also draw dots....it depens on the inspiration...then to protect I use a coat everywhere....I don't know the name in English but you can ask and find in a handcraft shop I think, a coat for painting...
I started years ago with small formats ( 40cm x 40cm) , now I see bigger : 80 x80
Hope my explanations help ;)
