Mealworms. by cocobella

Mealworms.

While in Vevey I’ve visited the Alimentarium museum ( a museum about all sort of alimentation ) where an exhibition about « food disgusts «  was shown , interesting and fun (but also shocking sometimes )
May be our future food, I’ve tasted, it was dehydrated no taste at all. I’ve learn that some industrials use mealworm flour to put in their protein bars.
I don't think I'll be eating protein bars now. Yuck! But I know some bluebirds that would be in heaven eating those meal worms. Of course, they like them alive.

We put them on stand along farm fences to assist in feeding the Eastern Bluebird while they are nesting,,,, nice texture image!

I would have to be starving to eat these. Sometimes we feed them to our lizard. My son has tried chocolate covered crickets.
