Just a small break in my Zanzibar shots because these photos have been taken last week and I want them to be on my project.
After my “extended holidays” in Zanzibar because I contracted Covid there , our daughters had to fly back home on their own.
After 5 days I’ve been tested negative and was able to take a plane back from Tanzania to Switzerland.
After three days of strong tiredness I was up and ok to spend time with family but it has been very short.
After two days Léa was back in Milan for her job.
After 5 days, Alix flew to London for the university. She has been tested negative before her flight but positive to Covid 24 hours after she landed … so now she’s in quanrantine for 10 days.
Ps : we are all vaccinated (3 shots).
I’m dreaming of a world without test, Covid, declaration, quarantine…
@lynnz thank you Lynn, I honestly don’t complain : my Covid was very light and almost asymptomatic, my daughter is just very tired , some families have been so dramatically touched by Covid , we’ve been lucky
I agree and dream of a world without tests too, especially when you/your family have to travel when kids live/study in different countries.
On the other hand, you were lucky to test negative so soon. Last year, my daughter kept on testing positive (with out symptoms) for more than a month.... Today my son had his test before traveling tonight. Fortunately it was negative, but instead of male they made him female... It took almost an hour to get that fixed... Such a hassle.
@ingrid01 one month ! You’re scaring me … my youngest daughter is alone in London , she made a test after 5 days : still positive but I hope it won’t last too long !
Life has been complicated since almost two years now …
Hope your son had a safe travel ;)
sorry to hear about your predicament, corinne. i just got my third shot and already they're telling us to book the fourth one. we would all get covid but would not die because of it. we would die because of all the crap they're putting in our body. tired of it all myself. i sympathize with you. hang in there.
Such a beautiful tree
