My daughter has been studying World War 2 at school. This was taken on a trip to a local museum where all the children dressed up in 1940’s style clothes!!
They have the correct style, but not those colours. Things were very drab during the war, no smiles, no bright colour, every thing was dark, if I remember rightly.
