15 years ago we adopted our only child, he turned 18 on Wednesday and his 'natural' grandparents sent us a lovely bouquet of roses and freesia to show their thanks to us. It's been a joy and pleasure (most of the time) and I don't know what I'll do without him when he goes off to university in September.
beautiful capture and I like your story as well. So good that the grandparents obviously appreciate what you done. I fostered for a long time and although some extended families were appreciative some were not!!
Thank you all for your lovely comments, some of the fresias and roses are still going strong. @carlt @hermann @opticlens @thistle, you must be very special people to foster, I imagine it can be a rewarding and heartbreaking job x @barneyone @bkbinthecity
