Coming into the Whitby harbour yesterday was the scaled down version of the Endeavour which runs regular trips out to sea. It was comical to hear the drift of sea shanties being played on board and of course it was being manned by a motor and not a sail, a bit disappointing really!....

I agree with you Margaret. I was once in Bristol docks and saw this 16th century sailing out of harbour but she wasn't on sails but motor-powered - I think it spoilt the whole scene. But this capture if very beautiful, notwithstanding. Love the textures.
A motor does sound a bit like cheating but I suppose it's a lot more practical! Looks like a great vessel though. Not sure what has happened but for some reason it says I'm not following you anymore!!!!!
